Sharda Group to Award Omoda E5 EV to NPL’s Best Nepalese Player

Sharda Group, the parent company of SPG Automobiles—the official distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo in Nepal—has announced that the Best Nepalese Player of the Nepal Premier League 2024 will receive an Omoda E5 EV Deluxe variant as an award. Omoda & Jaecoo is the official “Driven By” partner for the league.

Sharda Group announced this during the MOU signing ceremony for sponsorship between Omoda & Jaecoo, Nepal Premier League (NPL) and Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on 26th of November 2024.

Launched in Nepal in February this year, the Omoda E5 is available in two variants - DLX priced at Rs 55.99 Lakh and LUX at Rs 61.99 Lakh.

The Omoda E5 is equipped with a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery pack, providing a range of 430 km based on the WLTP standard. Powered by a front-mounted 99 kW electric motor, the Omoda E5 delivers 340 Nm of maximum torque.

The inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League will take place at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, from the 30th of November to the 21st of December, 2024. The League is expected to be thrilling, with eight teams competing for the title. As the official “Driven By” partner, Omoda & Jaecoo will be present throughout the league, supporting players and fans as they celebrate the game.
